Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Respiratory Therapist on a 12-hour night shift in Martinsburg, WV. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with both NICU and adult patients, including neonates, peds, and adults, in a hospital setting where you'll be responsible for assessing patients, planning treatments, and managing a range of respiratory therapies such as mechanical ventilation, nebulizers, and ABGs. You'll operate advanced equipment including Servo U ventilators, Hamilton G5 & T1 ventilators, Phillips V60 BiPAP, and high-flow heated systems. The role requires independent intubation skills for both pediatric and adult patients and experience with EMR systems like EPIC. This assignment stands out for its collaborative environment, where teamwork and a focus on patient-centered care are paramount. Expect to cover multiple units across Jefferson and Berkeley hospitals, with duties spanning from airway management to conducting EKGs, while adhering to unit-specific protocols.
