Job Description:

This ICU Registered Nurse role at a prominent short-term acute care hospital involves working within a 20+ bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), primarily on a 12-hour night shift. You'll be responsible for managing critically ill patients with complex conditions, requiring skills like interpreting dysrhythmias and managing pressor support, ventilators, and chest tubes. The assignment offers the opportunity to utilize advanced procedures such as bedside trach placement and bronchoscopy. Since float within the ICU scope is expected, flexibility and a solid grasp of sterile technique are essential. Expect to pass a Relias EKG exam as part of the onboarding process. Unique to this assignment is the fast-paced environment that blends technical expertise with a need for quick thinking, all while working among a praised Magnet and Level I Trauma hospital setting.
