Job Description:

Join a 18-bed open critical care unit as an ICU Registered Nurse for a 16-week contract in Muncie, Indiana. This role involves floating to progressive care areas, managing ventilated patients, interpreting dysrhythmias, arterial line management, starting IVs, and titrating cardiac drips. You'll be working night shifts, 3 days a week, with a 12-hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:30. The unit handles conditions like sepsis, CHF, respiratory failure, and post-surgical care, with a staffing ratio of 1:2, scaling to 1:1 during high acuity. This position offers a $3.00 per hour charge pay bump, with all required licenses and certifications such as ACLS and BLS needed upfront.
