Job Description:

This SICU Registered Nurse contract offers a unique opportunity to work within a high-acuity surgical intensive care unit where you'll oversee post-operative care for cardiac and transplant patients. Expect to be part of an elite team managing complex cases such as CABG, valve repairs, aortic dissections, and transplant recoveries, including liver, heart, lungs, kidney, and pancreas. The role involves caring for patients with invasive devices like PA catheters and balloon pumps, often requiring experience with continuous renal replacement therapy. You'll work the night shift, 12 hours at a time, and may be asked to join emergency response teams during critical events—be prepared for a resilient attitude and adaptability. The assignment runs for 13 weeks, offering a focused, intensive environment where precision and skill are paramount.
