This assignment places you in the heart of a busy cardiac step-down unit, managing patients recovering from procedures like CABG, valve repairs, or ablations. As a Cardiac Telemetry/Step Down RN, you'll monitor arrhythmias, support post-op care, and respond swiftly to cardiac emergencies—all while working 12-hour night shifts. The role offers a chance to hone your skills in a fast-paced setting, with healthy patient turnover and opportunities to float across different inpatient units. Expect to coordinate care for patients with CHF, post-angioplasty, or pacing devices, ensuring timely interventions and precise charting in EPIC.
