Job Description:

Join a renowned Level I trauma center as an Operating Room Registered Nurse, where you'll experience the fast-paced environment of a busy acute care hospital. This 13-week contract offers a schedule of four 10-hour days, from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, providing ample time to immerse yourself in complex surgical procedures across a variety of service lines—excluding cardiovascular cases. Your day will involve assisting with general, trauma, orthopedics, plastics, transplant, neurology, and urology surgeries, including laparoscopic, open, and microvascular techniques. The role emphasizes hands-on engagement with advanced equipment like electrosurgical units and fiber optic light sources, and the opportunity to work with Cerner charting in a magnet hospital setting. On-call responsibilities are included, with a manageable schedule of once per week, adding a dynamic element to your routine.
