Job Description:

Join a skilled team as a Cath Lab IR Tech in Grand Island, Nebraska, where you'll scrub cases in the cardiac catheterization laboratory and interventional radiology suite. This role involves hands-on work with procedures like heart catheterizations, peripheral angiographies, port placements, and ablations. The department features two procedure rooms and utilizes advanced equipment such as the Siemens C-arm and Sonosite ultrasound. You'll be proficient in scrubbing cardiac procedures and hold either a radiologic technologist degree or RCIS certification. The schedule offers four 10-hour shifts weekly, typically Wednesday to Tuesday every other week, with a rotating call week. You will wear hospital-supplied surgical scrubs while in procedure areas. The unit provides targeted orientation, with opportunities to learn IR procedures if you have prior cath lab experience. This assignment provides an engaging environment for those eager to sharpen their interventional radiology skills in a fast-paced setting.
