Job Description:

As a Travel ICU RN at Carlsbad Medical Center, you will be immersed in a fast-paced intensive care environment where your expertise in ventilators, titratable drips, and patient hygiene is essential. This 13-week night shift role involves providing comprehensive patient care to ICU patients, often involving full ventilation support and medication management. Floating to ER and Med Surg departments is required, offering diverse hands-on experiences within a smaller yet highly skilled team. Your work will include assisting with call lights, starting IVs, blood draws, and helping transport patients—an engaging role for nurses comfortable with variety and adaptability. This assignment offers a chance to expand your skills while working in a close-knit hospital setting that values your flexibility and clinical proficiency.
