Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers a chance to work in a fast-paced critical care setting, floating between ICU and stepdown units. As a registered nurse, you will be responsible for managing cardiac post-operative patients, sepsis, DKA, and respiratory failure cases. Your role involves titrating medications such as Levophed, Amiodarone, Heparin, and others to stabilize patients’ conditions. Working 12-hour night shifts, you will assist with bedside monitoring, interpret strip readings, and collaborate with intensivists and hospitalists. The position challenges you to adapt quickly across different units while honing your critical care skills in a supportive environment. Expect a stimulating mix of patient scenarios, comprehensive orientation, and consistent team support, making this a rewarding experience for seasoned ICU nurses seeking a new chapter.
