Job Description:

This OR nursing position in Martinsburg offers a unique chance to step into a solo RN role during night shifts, overseeing a busy surgical suite with approximately 28 cases daily across multiple specialties. You will be the primary RN in charge, posting cases and managing clinical activities in the main operating room Suites. The role demands a confident, experienced nurse capable of taking charge in a fast-paced environment. Expect to work independently during your shift, collaborating closely with OR techs and anesthesia providers, while maintaining a professional yet approachable presence. The ideal candidate will bring 2-3 years of surgical nursing experience, including ortho/neuro cases, and hold current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. This assignment promises a stimulating environment where you’ll be essential to the unit’s success, with opportunity to influence patient flow and case management during evenings.
