Job Description:

Join a Level 1 Trauma Teaching Hospital as a MedSurg RN, where you'll be at the forefront of patient recovery and stabilization. This 35-bed unit specializes in orthopedic and trauma cases, including fractures, head trauma, post-op surgeries, and complex co-morbidities such as diabetes and hypertension. Your role will involve managing multiple patient conditions, including wound care, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and discharge planning. Expect to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced environment that demands strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to juggle various tasks efficiently. The hospital fosters a team-oriented culture, encouraging collaboration among nurses, support staff, and specialists to deliver top-quality care.
