Job Description:

Join a specialized cardiac ICU team in Omaha, Nebraska, where you'll be working 12-hour night shifts caring for complex post-surgical patients recovering from open heart and vascular procedures. This role offers the chance to work with advanced support devices such as Impella, IABP, CRRT, and ECMO, giving you hands-on experience with high-acuity cases. The unit features a dedicated team including hospitalists and intensivists available 24/7, with no nurse aides or patient care technicians on the floor. You'll be troubleshooting ventilators and telemetry readings, reading and interpreting strips, and titrating various drips like vasopressors and sedatives. This assignment is perfect for RNs with at least one year of relevant experience ready to handle a fast-paced, highly technical environment that keeps you challenged and engaged.
