Job Description:

Join a laboratory team as a Generalist with strong phlebotomy skills for a 13-week travel assignment in Hastings, Nebraska. This role involves working in various areas such as hematology, serology, chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, and microbiology, with an emphasis on phlebotomy procedures, including neonatal and arterial blood collections. The position requires performing all phlebotomy duties during night shifts, which can constitute up to 50% of your workload, in addition to managing complex laboratory tests. You'll utilize systems like Epic EMR and Orchard LIS, and handle equipment such as Sysmex, ACL Top, Roche Cobas, and Cepheid Gene Xpert. The environment is fast-paced but supportive, offering a chance to showcase your multitasking abilities and team spirit in a busy lab setting without blood bank responsibilities.
