Job Description:

This 12-hour night shift position in the West 4 Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) unit offers a rewarding opportunity to support senior patients requiring complex medical monitoring and assistance. You will work on a 36-bed unit dedicated to elderly care and alternate level of care cases. The role involves managing patient status updates, coordinating care plans, and ensuring smooth transitions during your overnight shift. Expect a schedule that includes at least one holiday per contract, with a possibility of working weekends either once a week or every other weekend. The environment is fast-paced but provides the chance to develop specialized skills in acute geriatric care while working with EPIC charting software. This assignment suits experienced nurses comfortable with adapting to a facility’s needs and providing compassionate, attentive care during overnight hours.
