Job Description:

Join a respiratory care team where you'll disassemble, wash, rinse, dry, and package respiratory equipment, ensuring all tools are in top shape for the next use. You'll evaluate the results of respiratory interventions by reviewing patient responses and adjusting treatments accordingly. Demonstrating expertise in technical skills and clinical judgment, you'll prepare and test respiratory therapy equipment, verify proper operation, and report any malfunctions. You'll also manage respiratory equipment, chart procedures and patient responses accurately in the EMR, and ensure compliance with documentation standards. Performing assessments on ventilator and non-ventilator patients, you'll recommend timely interventions and liaise with physicians about patient progress and equipment performance. Your role is vital in maintaining high standards of respiratory support across inpatient units and emergency settings, ensuring safe and effective therapy for each patient.
