Job Description:

Join us as a Histotech specializing in grossing in a laboratory setting where you’ll handle a variety of tissue specimens, from simple to complex. This role involves preparing surgical tissue samples for microscopic examination, with a focus on gross examination, dissection, and specimen processing. You'll work primarily in the anatomic pathology gross room, using equipment such as cryostats, scalpels, and bone saws. The shift is scheduled for 8-hour nights, offering a unique opportunity to gain experience in evening hours while contributing to important diagnostic work. It’s an engaging position ideal for a professional with at least one year of grossing experience and familiarity with Epic Beaker LIS.
