Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you on a busy inpatient unit in Weirton, West Virginia, working 12-hour day shifts. As a registered nurse, you'll be responsible for performing patient assessments, administering medications, titrating drips such as heparin and lasix with appropriate oversight, and maintaining telemetry monitoring. The role offers the chance to hone your skills in managing conditions like pneumonia, UTI, AMS, GI bleeds, alcohol withdrawal, and falls. You’ll collaborate with charge nurses and assist patient care techs with daily duties like vital signs, EKGs, and mobility support. The unique aspect of this assignment lies in its fast-paced environment where flexibility and teamwork are essential, and you're encouraged to step into various roles to ensure optimal patient care.
