Job Description:

Join our team on a 13-week travel contract working as a Telemetry / Orthopedic RN on the 4th Floor North & South in Omaha. You'll be responsible for managing a diverse mix of patients including those recovering from joint replacements, fractures, colon resections, and battling conditions like COPD exacerbation, cellulitis, sepsis, and pneumonia. This role offers the opportunity to truly test your multitasking skills, as you'll handle patient monitoring, titrate drips such as heparin and lidocaine, and interpret telemetry strips using tele techs who assist with monitoring. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, embracing a schedule that encourages teamwork during busy days, with an emphasis on hourly rounding and prompt responsiveness.
