Job Description:

Join a busy and innovative Level I Trauma Center as an Operating Room RN for a 13-week contract. This role involves working three 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM), providing vital support in a hospital that features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties, including trauma, transplant, neuro, ortho, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics. As a key member of the surgical team, you'll scrub and circulate procedures, ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced environment where cutting-edge technology and teamwork are everyday norms. The department operates within a large academic teaching hospital with a Magnet designation, emphasizing excellence in nursing and surgical care. Flexibility to float within scope to other units or sister facilities is required, and experiences with scrub procedures are strongly preferred. Expect to work up to one weekend shift every four weeks and at least one major holiday, including Christmas or New Year’s. This assignment offers an engaging challenge for experienced OR RNs eager to contribute to a vital trauma center setting while experiencing the vibrant Charleston community.
