Job Description:

This IR specialty nurse role offers a hands-on experience in a fast-paced interventional radiology setting, providing conscious sedation for a variety of procedures across multiple suites including CT, MRI, Nuc Med, Ultrasound, and X-ray. You'll be essential in ensuring patient safety during procedures like biopsies, port placements, neuro interventions, and emergent cases such as strokes or PE. The schedule consists of four days a week with 9-hour shifts, offering a balance of challenging work and predictable time off. This assignment is perfect for nurses who enjoy a dynamic environment and are comfortable assisting pediatric patients or working in critical care-like situations, with some training provided for post-procedure care and sedation monitoring.
