Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of Medical Surgical Registered Nurses in a welcoming new facility nestled in the heart of Texas's renowned wine country, just an hour from San Antonio. This 13-week contract offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts (06:30 - 19:00). You'll take part in a unit celebrated for its supportive culture, where kindness and compassion are valued as much as clinical skills. Your daily duties will involve caring for adult surgical patients, managing telemetry when needed, and working within patient ratios of 1:5 during the day. Floating requirements include coverage in 2W, CDU, and ARU, providing variety and team collaboration. Prior med/surg and short-stay experience are essential, with telemetry experience preferred. ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
