Job Description:

Join us as a Stepdown/Tele RN on a 13-week contract at Deaconess Henderson in Kentucky, working 12-hour night shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. You'll be responsible for managing a patient population that includes sepsis, CHF, COPD, DKA, and other complex conditions within the Stepdown/PCU setting. The role involves initiating and titrating various drips such as insulin, heparin, and cardiac medications, along with performing assessments that require quick critical thinking and resilience. This assignment offers the chance to experience a smaller, dedicated unit with a seasoned team, where collaboration and efficiency are valued. Expect to float within your skill set, including potential cross-campus coverage, while expanding your expertise in a supportive environment.
