Job Description:

Join our team as an ultrasound technologist on a 13-week contract at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts on weekends, specifically Friday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., providing vital vascular and echocardiography imaging. You'll be performing a variety of ultrasound studies, including vascular and echocardiograms, in a setting that emphasizes hands-on experience alongside experienced staff. The position offers a unique chance to develop your skills in a busy clinical environment, where your daily caseload will typically range from 12 to 15 patients. Expect a thorough orientation process that begins with observation, followed by supervised practice, and culminating in performing studies independently with your preceptor. If you're comfortable working weekends and have at least 1 year of echocardiography experience along with 2-3 years in ultrasound, this assignment could be a perfect fit. BLS certification is preferred, and prior travel experience is necessary to hit the ground running in this fast-paced setting.
