Job Description:

Join a specialized step in your nursing career by taking on a 13-week contract as a Registered Nurse in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts in a 16-bed inpatient unit where you'll care for a mix of intermediate and telemetry patients, including oncology cases, post-surgical patients, and those undergoing prolonged chemotherapy infusions. Expect to utilize your skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, titratable vasoactive drips, and chest port management. This assignment offers a unique chance to experience a fast-paced, acuity-varied environment, with support from a dedicated team including a charge nurse available 24/7, clinical resource nurses, and support staff. If you're comfortable with MedSurg assignments and have EPIC experience, this position provides an engaging environment to apply your expertise while experiencing a different part of healthcare delivery.
