Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers an excellent opportunity for experienced Med Surg nurses to step into a bustling hospital setting in Des Moines, Iowa. As a Med Surg nurse on 12-hour day shifts, you will be responsible for caring for a variety of patient types, from post-surgical recovery to medical management cases. You’ll utilize your proficiency in telemetry and cardiac monitoring, with an emphasis on Heparin administration and EPIC EMR system navigation. The role emphasizes quick onboarding and requires a minimum of 24 months of recent Med Surg / Med Surg Tele experience. The ideal candidate will have prior travel experience, be open to extending beyond the initial 13-week assignment, and possess an Iowa or multi-state license.
