Job Description:

This travel contract specializes in supporting the cardiovascular operating room team as a circulating nurse with extensive experience in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries. You'll be part of a busy OR environment where your expertise in procedures like coronary artery bypass, aortic aneurysms, valve replacements, and ECMO is essential. The role offers a unique opportunity to work in a surgical setting that values critical thinking, multitasking, and teamwork. Your responsibilities will include assisting during intricate surgeries, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the surgical team through a variety of research protocols and ongoing cases. Certification in BLS (AHA) is required, while CNOR certification is preferred. Overtime and call may be necessary, including approximately one weekend shift per month. This assignment provides a hands-on experience in a high-stakes environment that promises both challenge and professional growth.
