Job Description:

Join our team as a Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week contract at a renowned teaching hospital in Macon, Georgia. This role offers the chance to work in a busy cardiac imaging department with 2 Echo Suites and 2 TEE rooms, supporting a wide range of cardiac procedures and Diagnoses. You'll perform detailed echocardiograms—including Peds scans, stress tests, and structural heart imaging—often supporting large structural programs. The work involves assisting with specialized procedures such as pericardiocentesis, measuring ejection fractions, and preparing preliminary findings for review by cardiologists. Be prepared for a lively environment where you'll be actively involved in bedside and departmental imaging, with opportunities to orient new team members and work with state-of-the-art equipment in Philips and GE systems. This position is perfect for a sonographer with at least two years of acute care echo experience seeking a dynamic outpatient and inpatient caseload, with on-call responsibilities and a supportive team.
