Job Description:

This RNFA role in the Operating Room at a busy hospital setting in Peoria offers a chance to work closely alongside surgeons in general surgery procedures. You'll assist during cases involving robotic colon surgeries, hernias, gastric sleeves, and gastric bypasses—getting hands-on with firing staplers and supporting both open and robotic techniques. The shift consists of 8-hour days, with a 40-hour workweek over 13 weeks. You'll experience a varied caseload, be part of a team that values efficiency, and contribute to complex surgeries in a fast-paced environment. The role includes participation in unit orientation, and you'll need to be ready for call responses within 30 minutes depending on physician needs, mainly for cases extending into evening shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced surgical RNFA looking to deepen their expertise in a surgical department that handles a range of major procedures.
