Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers an exciting opportunity to work in a large, reputable facility as a nurse specializing in cardiothoracic procedures. The role involves delivering patient care during 12-hour day shifts, with a focus on advanced cardiac interventions including VAD management with HeartMate 3 devices, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), transplants involving the heart and lungs, and various other complex surgical procedures. Experience with EPIC charting systems, NY licensure, and current ACLS and BLS certifications are required. The position provides a chance to hone skills in a challenging environment where clinical precision and expertise make a vital difference. You'll be part of a team managing high-acuity cardiac patients, with some additional responsibilities related to postoperative care and patient recovery in a well-established setting.
