Job Description:

This 13-week travel nursing assignment is at a busy hospital in Evansville, Indiana, working the night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. As a Med/Surg RN, you'll provide care to diverse patient populations including post-surgical patients, those with UTI, sepsis, COPD, CHF, and high fall risk. The role involves managing chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, straight caths, Foleys, ostomies, Heparin drips, blood/blood product administration, and tracheostomy care. You'll utilize your assessment and critical thinking skills to handle complex cases and may be asked to precept students or new hires. The unit has 41 beds, with experienced leadership and CNA support. Floating within the hospital or to nearby campuses may be required, with a short notice period.
