Job Description:

This contract opportunity places you in the cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) within a busy hospital setting. You'll work in a specialized environment that cares for patients recovering from cardiac surgeries, including CABG procedures, with a focus on cardiovascular device management. The role involves floating between the CVICU and telemetry departments on the same floor, utilizing the CUB cardiac universal bed concept. With a 4:1 patient to nurse ratio, you'll engage in complex post-operative care, monitor cardiac devices, and respond to patient needs during 12-hour day shifts. Qualified candidates with cardiovascular experience, especially those familiar with CABG recovery, and holding BLS and ACLS certifications are encouraged to apply. CCRN certification is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must submit a valid driver’s license as part of their packet and be within 100 miles of the facility.
