Job Description:

This PACU Registered Nurse position offers a chance to work in a specialized recovery setting, focusing on postoperative care for pediatric and adult patients in the ICU and PACU units. You'll be part of a team managing early recovery phases, including Phase I and Phase II recovery, and pre-postoperative assessments. The role involves a blend of hands-on monitoring, patient assessment, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth recovery processes. The shift is a 12-hour rotating schedule with evening and night rotations, giving you a balanced work routine in an environment that values expertise and precision. The assignment is unique due to its focus on ICU standards, requirement of CERNER system proficiency, and the need for passing the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam—a challenge that truly keeps your skills sharp.
