Job Description:

Join the team on an orthopedic Med/Surg unit specializing in total joint replacements, including hip, knee, shoulder, and spine cases, with most patients staying 1-2 nights post-operation. As a Registered Nurse on this contract, you will provide expert care to elective surgical patients during 12-hour night shifts, floating as needed to Medical/Surgical Orthopedic (MSO) and Progressive Care Units (PCU). The position offers a chance to focus on orthopedic recovery, utilizing your skills in a setting where patient mobility and recovery are central. You’ll be part of a supportive team managing a patient ratio of 6:1, with charting in EPIC and adherence to a flexible but professional workflow, all while experiencing the unique rhythm of nighttime care delivery.
