Job Description:

Join us as a Medical Surgical RN on a 13-week travel contract in Scranton, PA. You'll be responsible for providing direct nursing care to general medical, surgical, orthopedic, stroke, and telemetry patients in a 30-bed unit. Your tasks will include performing EKGs, IV insertions, medication administration, Foley insertions, vital signs monitoring, assessments, assisting with rapid sequence intubation (RSI), and conducting point-of-care testing such as blood glucose checks. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a setting where you'll help manage different types of patients, including those requiring short stay procedures and telemetry monitoring, all while following float requirements as needed. Expect to be hands-on with a focus on patient safety and smooth workflow, all while wearing navy blue/white scrubs.

Job Specifics:

Location: Scranton, Pennsylvania
Shift: 12-hour nights, 7 pm – 7:30 am (every other week and every other hour)
