Job Description:

Join our team as a Surgical Technician specializing in Neuro/Spine procedures at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center’s Main OR in Birmingham, AL. This role involves assisting during complex neurosurgical surgeries, managing surgical instruments, and ensuring all equipment is ready and sterile for procedures. The shift is scheduled for 10-hour days, with on-call weekend hours, providing a balanced work schedule that doesn't require on-site coverage all weekend. Experience with neuro or spine surgeries, along with BLS certification, is essential. This assignment is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dedicated surgical team, working closely with surgeons on intricate cases, and gaining valuable hands-on experience in a high-volume facility.

Job Specifics:

Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Shift: 10-hour days, 0600 - 1630
Duration: 13 weeks, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. On-call weekend hours are required as scheduled by the coordinator.
