Job Description:

Join a dedicated team on a behavioral health unit as a registered nurse during a nine-week contract in New Ulm, Minnesota. You'll work 12-hour daytime shifts in a secured adult inpatient mental health setting, caring for patients with conditions such as schizophrenia-spectrum disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and suicidal behaviors. Your role will involve administering medications via various methods, implementing behavior management techniques, and assisting with crisis intervention and de-escalation. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to develop specialized skills in a focused environment, with occasional float to other units or the emergency department to support mental health patients.
