Job Description:

Join a highly respected pediatric intensive care unit as a Respiratory Therapist specializing in critical care ventilator management for young patients recovering from complex open-heart procedures. This role offers the chance to work with children from infancy through late adolescence, including those with cystic fibrosis, chronic trach/vent dependence, and participation in ECMO programs. Expect to deliver advanced respiratory therapies, manage NIV devices such as CPAP and BIPAP, and perform ABGs using GEM technology. This assignment is unique for its focus on pediatric cardiac and respiratory cases within a Level II trauma center, providing a rewarding environment to apply your skills in a specialized setting. The shift is a 12-hour day schedule, giving ample opportunity to experience the pace and rhythm of this busy unit.
