Job Description:

This cardiology-focused ICU contract offers a chance to work closely with advanced cardiac devices and therapies in a dedicated Cardiac ICU setting. The role involves managing patients with complex conditions such as cardiogenic shock, STEMI, and post-PCI recovery, with responsibilities including reading EKG rhythms, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, and providing care for patients equipped with PA catheters, Swan-Ganz lines, Impella, and ECMO machines. The position requires recent experience with these advanced therapies and the ability to interpret hemodynamic data. While the work can be demanding, it provides a unique opportunity to refine your skills in a specialized environment with consistent shifts spanning day and night, including every other weekend and holiday coverage. You're essential in helping critically ill cardiac patients recover and stabilize with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Job Specifics:

Location: Falls Church, Virginia
Shift: Day/Night rotations, every other weekend, and one major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's)
