Job Description:

Step into a role focused on managing and performing advanced imaging procedures in a high-volume radiology setting. This contract position requires hands-on experience with Siemens Sensation 64 and GE Light Speed CT scanners, with a focus on managing patient scans efficiently. You'll be responsible for working alongside a team of radiologists, conducting a range of general CT exams—including virtual colonography and gated procedures—particularly with ER patients. The shift involves 10-hour days over a 13-week period, during which you'll handle approximately 10-20 scans per shift depending on the busy evenings. The environment features hospitalist or intensivist coverage with support from Nighthawk for night shifts. This assignment offers the opportunity to hone your management and charge experience in a fast-paced, technologically advanced setting. Expect to use Cerner and McKesson PACS for image storage and review, with a focus on maintaining optimal workflow and efficiency.
