Job Description:

This occupational therapy contract offers a chance to work in the Jerome Occupational Health department, where you'll treat 8 to 10 patients daily, focusing on orthopedic total joints, neurostrokes, and some brain injuries—all without TBI. You'll be providing therapy in acute inpatient and swing bed settings, with occasional float to the nearby Magic Valley Medical Center when census permits. The role combines hands-on treatment with a collaborative team environment, guided by a dedicated OT manager while adhering to EPIC EMR documentation. Be prepared to work five 8-hour shifts, primarily Monday through Friday, with potential holiday coverage. This position is ideal for licensed OT professionals with at least one year of experience in acute inpatient or rehab settings, comfortable with first-time traveler assignments. Scrubs are permitted, and dress code details will be shared upon hire. You’ll spend approximately 13 weeks making a meaningful impact in patient recovery, with a typical weekly commitment of 40 hours.
