Job Description:

This outpatient therapy position involves working primarily with orthopedic patients, along with a smaller percentage of neurological and general weakness cases. You'll be providing evaluations and treatments in both acute care and swing bed settings, with most of the workload centered on outpatient services. The role features an 8 am to 5 pm schedule over a 13-week contract, averaging 40 hours per week. The caseload includes treating 8 to 12 patients daily within 30 to 45-minute sessions. The setting offers the chance to experience a mix of evaluation and treatment, often with the PTA covering the load after initial assessments. Candidates should be graduates from a certified school and currently hold BLS certification. Local candidates within 80 miles are preferred, and the role requires professional attire or scrubs for daily work. This assignment combines hands-on therapy with collaborative teamwork in a welcoming environment, providing both professional growth and the opportunity to make a positive impact on patients' recovery journey.
