Job Description:

Join a busy Level I trauma center as an Operating Room Registered Nurse, where you'll step into a role that keeps the OR running smoothly across 23 rooms. Your days will be filled with diverse surgical cases—including general, trauma, orthopedics, plastics, urology, and transplant procedures—each demanding your expertise in sterile techniques and quick-thinking. This assignment offers a mid-shift schedule of four 10-hour days, from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, giving you a solid block of time to focus on varied cases while enjoying your evenings. You'll be part of a surgical team that values experience and independence, working with a broad array of service lines and instruments. If you bring at least three years of OR experience, including trauma and laparoscopic cases, you'll thrive here. Certification in BLS is required, and CNOR is preferred. Keep your skills sharp with on-call shifts--usually once a week--and the opportunity to work within your scope of practice. Living within 50 miles of Springfield, Illinois, and holding an active Illinois license are necessary to qualify for this contract, which runs for 13 weeks with a weekly gross pay of approximately $2,359.
