Job Description:

This radiology contract in Bend, Oregon offers an engaging opportunity to work with GE x-ray and fluoroscopy equipment in a busy hospital setting. As an X-Ray Tech specializing in radiology and cardiology, you'll be responsible for performing inpatient and outpatient imaging procedures, including plain x-rays, fluoroscopy with c-arms, and OR procedures. The role involves working a 10-hour rotating shift with a daily caseload of approximately 150 patients. You'll need to demonstrate proficiency with Epic EMR and Sectra PACS, and hold current BLS, ARRT R, and State certifications. The assignment also requires experience with fluoroscopy, OR procedures, and working in inpatient/outpatient environments. On-call responsibilities are included, with start times typically around 0700-0830, adding a layer of unpredictability that keeps the job interesting. This position is designed for first-timers or experienced techs looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced hospital setting.
