Job Description:

Join a renowned healthcare team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract in New Haven. You'll work on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, transitioning between day, evening, and night shifts to support the diverse needs of a busy Level I Trauma Center. This role involves circulating in the OR and having scrub experience—particularly in trauma cases, craniotomies, vascular, and endovascular procedures—to ensure smooth surgical operations. Expect to be part of a dynamic surgical team, often handling complex cases and potentially working with robotic and orthopedic surgeries. The schedule is structured in six-week blocks, with rotations planned to balance night and day shifts, and on-call duties are part of your routine. This contract offers the chance to experience a fast-paced OR environment while contributing to high-quality patient care through technical expertise and independence in the operating room.
