Job Description:

Join our respiratory therapy team in a bustling short-term acute care teaching hospital in St. Louis. As an RRT during this 26-week contract, you'll work three 12-hour shifts each week, rotating weekends and some holidays. Your day will involve managing patients with both acute and chronic respiratory conditions, including those on mechanical ventilation—think troubleshooting alarms, adjusting ventilator settings, and performing airway management procedures such as intubation and suctioning. You'll occasionally precept students, sharing your expertise and inspiring the next generation of respiratory therapists. The hospital's large campus means you'll be on your feet walking between floors, so comfort with mobility is key.
