Job Description:

This contract role involves supporting a unit in a hospital setting as it prepares for the Epic go-live. The position requires experience with Cerner and Epic EMRs and focuses on telemetry monitoring, specifically with adult cardiac and stroke patients. The successful candidate will need to self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during the first week. You will primarily be working 12-hour night shifts, delivering high-quality nursing care using the nursing process in a team environment. The role emphasizes detailed assessment, planning, and implementation for adult cardiac, vascular, and hemodynamic monitoring patients. Although not part of a standard call rotation, there may be occasional on-call responsibilities, with a response time of within one hour if needed. This assignment offers the opportunity to be part of a crucial organizational transition and develop your skills in a specialized cardiac care environment.
