Job Description:
Join a fast-paced emergency room team in Klamath Falls, Oregon, as an ER RN on a 13-week travel contract. This role offers the chance to experience a vibrant community while managing a diverse patient population with conditions ranging from trauma and strokes to mental health crises and overdoses. The shift consists of 12-hour day and night rotation blocks, scheduled in four-week cycles, requiring flexibility to switch between shifts with advance notice. You'll work in a well-equipped ER, managing multiple monitors and equipment, and handling a variety of cases that will hone your assessment and rapid decision-making skills. The assignment offers a unique opportunity to be part of a close-knit team managing dedicated psych hold rooms and overflow areas, with separate triage zones and robust support staff including ED techs, paramedics, and dedicated charge nurses.
