Job Description:

Join this specialized CVICU assignment where you'll be working in a Level I Trauma teaching hospital known for complex cardiac cases. As a CVICU nurse, you'll manage critically ill patients recovering from open-heart surgeries, ECMO, and other advanced cardiac procedures. The shift is overnight, offering a calm night shift where your expertise in post-op open hearts, bedside tach/peg, and various surgical procedures will shine. This role involves floating within ICU, PCU floors, ED, or PACU to ensure seamless patient care. Experience with equipment like Impella, IABP, ECMO, and CRRT is required. The assignment offers a robust weekly schedule, providing 48 hours across four 12-hour shifts, and a chance to work on some of the most complex cardiac cases in a short-term setting.
