Job Description:

Join the team at Inova Schar Cancer Institute as a Radiation Therapist on a 13-week contract working 8-hour shifts. In this role, you'll operate Varian treatment systems including Truebeam, Trilogy, and IBA Proton, along with the Aria EMR, delivering precise radiation therapy treatments in a facility with seven treatment rooms. The position involves a 2:1 patient-to-RTT ratio and requires active VA licensure, BLS (AHA), and RT(T) certification. Expect a steady schedule with variable weekend treatments, especially if proton machine maintenance occurs during the week. No call responsibilities are involved, and you'll be dressed in gray scrubs as part of your department orientation and training. This assignment offers an engaging experience in a specialized setting, with opportunities to refine your technical skills in a state-of-the-art environment.
