Job Description:

This contract role supports the Emergency Department (ED) holding area, a critical unit where patients await inpatient beds. As a travel nurse, you'll manage a variety of adult medical and surgical diagnoses, including PCU-level cases, often working alongside fast-paced teams. Your responsibilities will include interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, administering blood products, managing lines such as PICC and heparin infusions, and caring for patients with ventilator support, chest tubes, and other high-acuity conditions. You will float across MedSurg, ED, and Telemetry areas as needed, providing essential support during their high-pressure, unpredictable shifts. This position offers a unique chance to strengthen your skills in a versatile, high-stakes environment while contributing to streamlined patient flow within the hospital.
